Pipe Organ Update

The organ vendor was REALLY busy yesterday. The choir loft is now packed with pieces and parts of the new organ loaded by lift from the floor of the church. There was hardly any room in the loft for the choir this morning.

The photos show:
  1. The beginning of the construction and the framework of the enclosure for the pipes and mechanics of the organ.
  2. Some of the longer ranks of pipes laid out across the pews of the church since there wasn't room in the loft at this time
  3. The console
Help! Perhaps those of you who are organists or organ experts can let us know just what it is that we're looking at. If there aren't any comments/explanations, we'll do some research and find who the organ maker is, the name of the organ and something about it's operations.
