There was much a-do at Old St. Patrick this afternoon. Carpenters were installing final trim work on the wainscoting throughout the church and on the bases of the columns. Painters were doing much touch-up and painting of the new doors that will be installed at the main entrance. And electricians were proceeding with their work. The photo to the right is taken from a vantage point at the top of the steps behind the main altar looking through the baldacinno toward the main door. This will be the last opportunity to record the look of the empty nave without pews...as the pews will begin to be installed in the morning.
